Distinguished Support for National Patriotism: Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat Accepts Role as PATRON of Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan (PPK)
PPK recently received a meaningful recognition when the Right Honourable Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat graciously accepted the invitation to serve as the PATRON of the association. The acceptance of this role represents an important moment for the organisation, as it reflects a strong endorsement of our mission to promote a harmonious, prosperous and progressive Malaysia that truly reflects national unity and responsible citizenship among Malaysians from diverse backgrounds.
The President of PPK, LTC Dato’ Zarazilah Mohd Ali (Rtd) expressed deep appreciation and honour at the willingness of Tun Tengku Maimun to lend her moral support and distinguished presence to the association. As the former Chief Justice of Malaysia, she has long been recognised for her dedication to upholding the rule of law, institutional integrity, and constitutional principles.
The occasion was further enriched by the presence of her husband, Datuk Zamani Ibrahim, whose attendance brought warmth and a sense of personal support to the meaningful engagement between the distinguished couple and members of the association. During the event, Datuk Zamani Ibrahim graciously accepted the role of Honorary Member of PPK. The presence of both individuals reflected a shared commitment to fostering patriotic values and encouraging wider public participation in initiatives that contribute to the strengthening and development of the nation.
The acceptance of the PATRON role by Tun Tengku Maimun thus represents more than a ceremonial recognition. It reflects a shared commitment between respected national figures and civil society organisations to nurture a culture of patriotism, integrity, and unity that will continue to guide Malaysia’s progress in the years to come.
